Haha... definitely not the two bar!

Right now I'm on Christmas leave and am up to week 10 at CFLRS. When I get back in January I get gassed (CBRN), then go out into the field for 2 weeks (weeks 11 and 12), then it's grad week (week 13). So it's gone by pretty quickly.

Some photos...

Graduated on Thursday and I'm not on PAT platoon in Gagetown awaiting the start of my next course. I'll have more free time until then to work on the site.

Excellent.

So what's next?.... Artillery training?

...and what's it like getting gassed?

Next is soldier qualification, then the artillery course.

Getting gassed wasn't so bad. I was okay doing my gas drill (and didn't fumble with any equipment) so I didn't have too many problems in the hut.

Right now I'm on my SQ course until the 25th. My Arty course is from June 28-Aug 5, then I'll be fully qualified.

^All of us 4 were in the same platoon in basic.

^Watching rockets go off... I fired the 84mm (SRAAW Carl Gustav) as a #1 and was a #2 as well.

I'm officially a qualified gunner posted to 2 RCHA.

Some photos from the final ex. I fired 40 or so 105 shells, most of them HE. The last 8 were charge 7... KABOOM!
